February Update

We had nine participants at the last meeting and it was a good start to our project! The conversation of the day was the economy and surviving the down turn, no surprise there! Still, everyone attending agreed the positive thing to do was focus on maintaining core business and be creative in finding new customers.

It was fun to meet new faces from quite a few different industries and also to hear some industries are thriving and growing - we need to hear some success stories to put things in perspective!

We also talked about sharing some marketing strategies such as direct mailers, web site exposure, using linkedin as a resource for members of Brossard Business Network and also the Meetup web site and our members on that site as well.

It was interesting to hear what different members were doing to access new customers and we would like to cover this topic further in our next meeting on March 10th. We would like to drive traffic to our news area of the centre d’affaires web site and act as a community portal for south shore entrepeneurs and business professionals.

We hope there will be synergy by having our members feature thier services on our blog pages of the web site - let us know if you would like to post your services, company or products on our site.
